Maternity session: At home with Hayley

After my son was born in May of this year, it dawned on me how fleeting and precious the time of pregnancy truly is. It’s offered me the most genuine appreciation for this special time; the impending transition a new expecting mother is near making, whether her first babe or second and so on. I think the need to capture this time is really important, I am so glad I had photos taken of my beautiful bump and I was simply beyond joy that my dear friend Hayley invited me to capture hers. This shoot was everything, real - raw - honest, her anticipation and excitement, and readiness… all so evident in these images.
