Brooke and Eden are effortlessly cool in that way you can’t manufacture. Calm, confident, deeply connected - the kind of couple who make everyone around them feel instantly at ease. Their wedding day was exactly that too. No fuss for the sake of it, just a really bloody good celebration of love, surrounded by their people.
Set against the rolling hills of Brindabella Hills Winery in spring, the light did what it does best out there… soft, golden, and generous. The kind of afternoon glow photographers quietly hope for (and then pretend not to panic about all day.)
The florals were bold and joyful, layered with colour and texture, and honestly? A dream to photograph. Nothing timid, nothing muted for these two, just full-bodied spring energy everywhere you looked.
The ceremony was one of those rare ones where you feel the room shift. Sarah Marie delivered what can only be described as a perfectly “Sarah-monie” - personal, thoughtful, and pitched exactly where it needed to land. There were tears, plenty of laughter, and that collective exhale when you realise you’re witnessing something really special. I won’t pretend I wasn’t wiping my own eyes behind the camera at least once.
From there, the day unfolded with ease. Drinks in hand, music floating through the air, guests soaking up the views and the vibe. Brooke and Eden were completely themselves; relaxed, affectionate, present. Nothing forced, nothing performative, just real moments stitched together.
As the sun dipped and the party picked up, it became very clear: this wasn’t about tradition or expectation. It was about love, community, and having the absolute best time doing it. And those are always the days that photograph the best.
Brooke and Eden, thank you for trusting me with something so meaningful. Your day was joyful, stylish, emotional, and so unmistakably you. A true cracker from start to finish.
Love is love — and this one was worth celebrating loudly.
